Divah Sprik Law Notes conducted an interview with Mr. Pranab Mahay, Asst. Manager in The New India Assurance Co. Ltd., one of the largest public sector general insurance companies in India. After completing his B.A. LLB (H) from University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi in 2014, Mr. Mahay cleared the Administrative Officer Exam of The New India Assurance Co. Ltd., the Administrative Officer Exam of The United India Insurance, Specialist Officer Exam of IBPS, Administrative Officer of Agriculture Insurance Co. Ltd. and Assistant Manager of General Insurance Corporation before joining The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. in 2015 as an Administrative Officer.

Since then, Mr. Mahay has gone on to clear his promotional exam for Assistant Manager, complete his Fellowship from Insurance Institute of India and Diploma in Health Insurance from Insurance Institute of India. Presently, he is pursuing his Diploma in Marine Insurance from Insurance Institute of India alongside his work.
